Nashville, TN - Amid the excitement of last week's Academy of Country Music Awards and Sizzlin' Country events in Las Vegas, Arista Nashville supergroup Diamond Rio and friend & NASCAR champ Tony Stewart enjoyed dual celebrations together - Stewart's birthday and the chart-topping success of Rio's current smash, "I Believe." The follow-up to the band's multi-week #1 single, "Beautiful Mess," "I Believe" is now #1 for the second week in a row on the Billboard and R&R country airplay charts.

Nominated as Top Vocal Group at the ACM Awards, Rio performed the song live on Wednesday's awards broadcast, where they had the pleasure of being introduced by Tony Stewart. The Winston Cup champ also joined the band on Tuesday the 20th - Stewart's 32nd birthday - when they performed at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Ninth Annual Sizzlin' Country benefit concert, which took place at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Stewart surprised the crowd with an on-stage appearance to auction a NASCAR jacket worn by Diamond Rio bassist Dana Williams during the band's performance - an item that raised an amazing $5800.00 for the event. Backstage, the band offered the racing icon a surprise of his own with a birthday party to help celebrate the day.

Diamond Rio's "I Believe" and "Beautiful Mess" are both from the band's latest release, the Gold-certified Completely.
