During its 30+ year career, country supergroup Alabama set or broke virtually every record on the books. Five years after the band released its last album and three years after the quartet wrapped up its farewell tour, they are still setting records. An appearance on QVC® to promote their new album Alabama – Songs of Inspiration this week yielded the highest single-hour music sales event in the television shopping giant's twenty-year history with more than 41,000 units ordered.

Alabama – Songs of Inspiration will be simultaneously released by RCA Records to traditional retailers and by Provident Music Group to the Christian retail outlets on October 24, 2006.
