CMA Unveils Official Merchandise For "The 40th Annual CMA Awards"

NASHVILLE - Fans can gear up for "The 40th Annual CMA Awards" with a complete line of branded merchandise available now at the official Web site of the 2006 CMA Awards, CMAawards.com.

"Our fans love showing their support for the artists and the Awards by 'suiting up' with customized CMA Awards merchandise," quipped CMA Chief Operating Officer Tammy Genovese.  "While the artists are wearing the latest New York and Paris fashions on the Red Carpet, our fans are wearing the latest CMA Awards shirts on the carpet - in their living rooms!"

"The 40th Annual CMA Awards" will be held Monday Nov. 6 (8:00-11:00 PM/EST) at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville. The three-hour gala will be carried live by the ABC Television Network. The CMA Awards' most celebrated duo Brooks & Dunn return to host for the third consecutive year.

Fourteen items are currently available, including a limited edition T-shirt featuring the official artwork commemorating the 2006 CMA Awards, by famous 3-D pop artist Charles Fazzino.
