Jason McCoy and Johnny Reid Win Big At The O.C.P.F.A’s

November 29th 2004Open Road Recordings artists Jason McCoy and Johnny Reid took home most of the awards Sunday night (Nov.28th) at the 2004 Ontario Country Music Awards.

 

Jason McCoy grabbed 6 awards, one for each category he was nominated within including, Fans Choice, Album for “Sins Lies and Angels”, Male Artist, Single for “Still”, SOCAN Song for his collaboration with George Ducas on “Still”, and Video of the year for “Still”.

 

Newcomer, Johnny Reid took home Rising Star and won the audience over with an acoustic performance of “Angel” from his upcoming album Born To Roll scheduled for release next February.

 

In addition Ron Kitchener took home the sole industry award, Manager of the year for his work with Jason McCoy.

The O.C.P.F.A (Ontario Country Performer & Fan Association) designed the Ontario Country Music Awards to showcase and inform fans of Ontario Country Talent. The awards are held bi annually at Little Big Horn in Cambridge ON.
