Showcase Part of "Nashville Celebrates Country," a Week of Activities Leading Up to "The 40th Annual CMA Awards"
The Country Music Association continues to promote Country Music around the globe, and that includes showcasing Country artists to international tastemakers and media outlets. With numerous international CMA members and reporters visiting Nashville in November for the CMA Awards, the association will conduct a CMA Global Showcase to spotlight several of today's rising Country artists.

"Country Music's Biggest NightT" continues to grow with the announcement today that Faith Hill has been added to the star-packed list of performers on "The 40th Annual CMA Awards," which airs live Monday, Nov. 6 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network from the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville. Actor, legendary songwriter and member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Kris Kristofferson will introduce the 2006 Hall of Fame inductees. Sheryl Crow and Vince Gill have been added to the Brooks & Dunn performance; and John Rich of Big & Rich will perform with Gretchen Wilson.
