"The CMA Global Showcase is our way of welcoming our international members and media outlets to the CMA Awards," said Tammy Genovese, CMA Chief Operating Officer. "Our guests will enjoy performances from several artists who certainly demonstrate the potential to be future CMA Awards nominees."

The CMA Global Showcase is open to all international CMA members as well as international and domestic media outlets credentialed for the CMA Awards.

"Our international members look forward to gathering together each year at the CMA Awards," said Bobbi Boyce, CMA Director of International. "In addition to the networking opportunity, our members enjoy discovering some of the newest Country artists so that they can spread the word in their home countries."

Everett has been a strong supporter of CMA's international outreach. Earlier this year he joined Dierks Bentley on the 2006 CMA New from Nashville Tour, which traveled to England, Ireland, and Scotland for a combination concert and media tour. Everett also hosted this year's CMA Global Party in June, a pre-CMA Music Festival event that spotlighted several international Country artists.
