On Tuesday June 13th country sensation Adam Gregory will release his self-titled third CD on Mensa Records with distribution through EMI Canada. Gregory, who is one of Canadian country music’s hottest young stars, will then be performing at select events throughout the summer and fall. His current single, “Get It On” was released on April 11th and is already charting at country radio, the video is this week’s CMT Breakout clip and is #15 in its second week on the station’s charts.

Gregory is also a featured artist on the Now Country 1 compilation, which is scheduled for release on May 2nd. The album also includes some of country music’s biggest stars, including Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney.

“Adam is our founding act and we are so thrilled to be releasing his album,” says Mensa Records President and CEO, Dale Potter. “We know that Adam has laid the groundwork for a long and successful career and we are looking forward to working alongside him on many records to come. We really believe in him.”  Mensa Records has a commercial association and working relationship with Aquarius Records and Donald K. Tarlton, Chairman of Donald K. Donald Entertainment Group, who stated – “I  haven’t been this excited by an artist since my early days with Celine Dion. I’m really looking forward to this adventure.”

His new album proves that Gregory is his own man now. No longer just a fresh-faced teen star, he has spent the last four years going back and forth from Edmonton to Nashville, working on honing his songwriting. For the songs on Adam Gregory he worked with some of the best songwriters in the world, including Jim “Moose” Brown (“It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere”), Aldo Nova (who has penned several songs for international stars like Celine Dion), and Stacy Wideliz ("She's Like the Wind" - Patrick Swayze). The result is an edgier sound and lyrics that reflect a young man at twenty, through the innovative work of producer and writing collaborator Jeff Nystrom.

Gregory made his debut on the Canadian music scene in 2000, when he was only 14-years-old, with his The Way I’m Made CD on Sony Music Canada. The CD was an instant hit at radio and with record buyers, who loved the fresh-faced teen with the grown-up voice. Tours with country stars like Terri Clark and Lonestar followed, as well as opening slots of Ronnie Milsap Blake Shelton and many others.  The album was certified gold and went on to earn Gregory a Prairie Music Award for Outstanding Country Music Recording in September 2001 and his infectious single “Horseshoes” took home the Canadian Radio Music Award in March of that year.

Workin' On It, Gregory's sophomore album on Sony Music Canada was released in Canada on July 9, 2002 - the week Adam turned 17. The album featured a duet with Billy Ray Cyrus, “When I Leave This House,” that became one of the hottest singles and videos in Gregory’s career. The album was another sales success and the edgier sound paved the way for his latest release.
