USA NETWORK’S NASHVILLE STAR WELCOMES SARA EVANS TO MARCH 22 SHOW

Who:

2004's Most-Played Country Female and multi-platinum hitmaker Sara Evans, this season’s eight remaining Nashville Star finalists, host LeAnn Rimes, special correspondent Cledus T. Judd, and judges Bret Michaels, Phil Vassar and Anastasia Brown.

What:

Nashville Star, USA Network’s grassroots talent search reality series to find the next country music superstar, continues its third season on Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at 10:00 PM (ET/PT)/9:00 CT on USA Network.  Sara Evans, who guested on the show last season, will open the show with the #1 hit single, “Suds in the Bucket,” from her platinum-selling CD, Restless.  Also, the third contestant will be eliminated based on the results of audience voting following last week’s show.

When:        Tuesday, March 22

                 9:00 PM central (Doors open at 7:15 PM)

Where:          BellSouth Acuff Theatre, Nashville, TN

This year’s remaining Nashville Star finalists are:  Justin David, 31, from Marshfield, MO; Jody Evans, 28, from Donaldson, AR; Jenny Farrell, 35, from Albuquerque, NM; Erika Jo, 18, from Angleton, TX; Jason Meadows, 33, from Calera, OK; Casey Simpson, 19, from Cerritos, CA; Tamika Tyler, 33, from Coffs Harbour, Australia; and Jayron Weaver, 22, from Dallas, GA.
