The next OCMA Showcase is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2008, from 6pm to 11pm at the Gibson Guitar Centre in downtown Toronto.
In conjunction with Gibson, the Ontario Country Music Association will be using this evening as showcase, fundraiser, meet and greet, and membership drive.
Entertainment for the evening will consist of performances by these OCMA members:
CCMA Nominee Desert Heat
Dan McVeigh and North of 49
Lorraine Davies
Linda M
Rebekka Paige
Performances by a special guest or two is also expected.
As well, it will give those interested a chance to learn more about the association, as well as meet some of the board of directors that have taken on this challenge.
Tickets are $20 for non-members and $10 for members. This includes all refreshments and snacks. There will be an opportunity to join the association at the door and purchase your ticket as a member. There is a limit of 150 tickets for this event. Non member tickets can be purchased ahead of time from the OCMA web site, or, by calling (905)424-0155 or e-mailing ocma@rogers.com. Advance member tickets will be offered to members electronically.
There are a limited number of VIP, industry, and media passes available. Contact the OCMA for details.
