Two Celebrities Will Be Fired Thursday, March 20 (NBC - 9pm ET)

Tune In To See if Adkins Will  Be One Of Remaining Finalists

Nashville, TN - March 17, 2008... Multi-platinum country artist Trace Adkins remains a contender on NBC's 'The Celebrity Apprentice' and has become one of four competitors remaining, despite another team loss.

When faced with the task of creating a new sandwich for Quiznos, Adkins, who served as project manager with teammate Stephen Baldwin, quickly came up with a sandwich idea, as time was a huge factor in the challenge. While his "Prime Rib Cowboy Club" sandwich may not have won him last week's challenge, Adkins' consistent hard work and history of bringing in money for charity throughout the competition definitely paid off.  In the boardroom, Trump stated that he had been really impressed with Adkins'  fundraising history, along with his winning ideas. Ultimately, it was Baldwin who was fired.

The drama continued when Trump called the final four candidates back into the boardroom at the end of the show to announce that an additional two celebrities will be sent home before the next task begins. All four celebrities will be interviewed by CNBC'S Jim Cramer and Erin Burnett who will offer their insights to Trump. The axe falls and only two will remain.

The two remaining finalists will be responsible for organizing a huge charity auction and concert gala featuring The Backstreet Boys. Each celebrity, along with help from a few returning Celebrity Apprentice alumni, will be responsible for different aspects of the event.   As they race against the clock, one struggles to meet the demands of The Backstreet Boys, while the other is let down by one of their celebrity helpers.

Adkins, whose single "You're Gonna Miss This" sits at #3 on the country singles charts this week,  is participating in 'The Celebrity Apprentice' to create more awareness for the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network because his 6-year-old daughter suffers from severe food allergies. Adkins says most people are not aware that more than three million school-age children are afflicted with food allergies and the numbers are increasing each year.  To learn more about the organization, visit www.foodallergy.org.
