Industry Awards released for 2007 CCMA Awards

Regina, SK (September 8, 2007) – The Canadian Country Music Awards today announced the first listing of winners from this year’s Country Music Week. These initial awards honour the Industry members who work tirelessly behind the scenes.

The Industry Awards are given to venues and events, graphic and web designers, directors, promoters and bookers and on-air personalities.

The CCMA Awards show will be broadcast in Canada on Monday September 10 on CBC Television at 8PM in most markets (9:00 pm AST & 9:30 NF) with encore airings on CMT Canada. The CCMA Awards will also air in the U.S. on the television network Great American Country (GAC) and in Australia on Country Music Channel (CMC).

The CCMA Awards show hosted by Paul Brandt will also feature performances from Jason Blaine, George Canyon, Jim Cuddy, Doc Walker, Emerson Drive, Jessie Farrell, Brad Johner, Aaron Pritchett, Johnny Reid, Shane Yellowbird and a special performance by Carolyn Dawn Johnson with Jimmy Rankin.
