AND HOW WAS YOUR WEEK????
If it hadn't been for the wonderful weather we had this week, I would probably have gone stark raving mad!
Yup.....you're right! My computer (the good one) decided to take a holiday in the repair shop just two weeks after the warranty ran out! Between running back and forth to the Future Shop and trying to get all the crucial files from my computer, there was little time left to make a dent in any of the work I had sitting on my desk. I did try though, using my old computer. When I say "old", it's only a year and a half old but ancient compared to my "new" computer because it only has 128 meg's of RAM and a speed of 1.8 GHZ. The other has 512 meg's of RAM and has a speed of 2.8 GHZ. I can't believe I ever worked on the old one! Slow wasn't the word for it. In a time when I usually have at least four programs open and interchange constantly, I could only have 2 open and it was s-l-o-w! Sooooooo, with all of this happening, I decided to put on my green gloves and do some gardening. Shovel in hand, I trudged my way to the backyard and proceeded to dig up some ground for my flowerbeds. My helpful sidekick, Chauncey (my 7 month old standard poodle, who looks like a miniature horse and acts like one) decided to dig right along side of me. NOT! I ended up purchasing chicken wire and posts and proceeded to build a fence so I could get my work done! Ha! Ha! That was a waste of money. The "little" guy scaled the 4 foot fence with no problem at all. After a few stern talks (or maybe it was the treats he was getting), he decided he was better off on the other side of the fence. Today, I can barely walk straight but my garden is coming along.
I have my computer back now and it's working just great. Please check out the new Lee Ann Womack Greatest Hits profile. I loved doing the clips for that one. Every song was a hit at some point but some I hadn't listened to in such a long time. It enticed me to pull out Lee Ann's earlier albums and play them! And how was your week?
