CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVISITED JOINS THIS ALREADY POWERFUL LINE UP AT MOUNTAINFEST

Celebrating its 15th Anniversary, July 12–15, 2007, The Merritt Mountain Music Festival is pleased to announce CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVISITED will headline Saturday,  July 14, 2007.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame rhythm section Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” (bass and drums respectively) from the legendary group Creedence Clearwater Revival launched the Creedence Clearwater Revisited project in 1995.  They found the right players in lead singer/rhythm guitar player John Tristao, a powerful tenor; lead guitarist Tal Morris "the quintessential Bay Area guitar prodigy" and multi-instrumentalist Steve Gunner on keyboard, acoustic guitar, percussion, harmonica and harmonies.    With this new lineup, Stu and Cosmo and their band Creedence Clearwater Revisited add a new chapter to their legacy performing hit after hit with vibrant and exhilarating energy.

Creedence Clearwater Revisited perform up to 100 shows a year and released a double-live CD “Recollection” which features passionate, authoritative versions of 22 classic hits that include “Born on the Bayou”, “Green River”, “Who’ll Stop The Rain” and “Down on the Corner” , to name a few.  As the Hollywood Reporter's music critic John Lappen wrote about a Creedence Clearwater Revisited concert in Los Angeles, “Their set was an amazing list of hit after hit that was done serious justice by the players involved”.  Creedence Clearwater Revisited deliver some of the best American rock ever written!
