Shane Yellowbird's "Pickup Truck" #1 Video in Canada
Shane Yellowbird's #1 Canadian single "Pickup Truck" is now also the #1 music video on CMT Canada. Yellowbird's catchy, feel good tune topped the radio charts for several weeks, and the music video is now following in those footsteps. The video, shot by Arkadia Pictures in Vancouver, depicts a man in different stages of life, accompanied by his four-wheeled companion. As the man ages, his pickup truck (and pickup lines) gets more extravagant, but his chances of success with the ladies get slimmer. The song is one of Shane's favourites from his debut album "Life is Calling My Name", because it's one that many people can relate to. "I don't think there's any guy out there who wouldn't relate to being shut down by a lady", Shane jokes, "And we have to laugh at ourselves, because we've all had our cheesy moments. I'm just glad that the fans are really enjoying the song and the video." "Pickup Truck" also hit the #1 spot on this month's (July) Country Music News Top 100 chart.
