Aldean Set to Perform "Johnny Cash"

on Good Morning America

NASHVILLE, TENN (May 21, 2007) - With an electric primetime ACM performance under his belt and just a week to go until release, the nation is quickly catching on to rising country music star Jason Aldean's sophomore Broken Bow Records release - RELENTLESS - in stores May 29.    The award winning Georgia-native is set to rock national television audiences again when he performs his hit single "Johnny Cash" on Good Morning America live from New York City's Times Square on June 6.

Entertainment Weekly will highlight Aldean in its coveted "Spotlight" section this week (on stands 5/25) in a feature called "What's On My Mind," and just days ago the Los Angeles Times featured the Georgia native calling him "a face to watch."   Other early coverage designates RELENTLESS as one of the most "anticipated releases of the year" ( Atlanta Journal Constitution) and " a giant step forward" ( amazon.com).

The lead single "Johnny Cash" is the fastest rising of Aldean's career to date jumping three more spots this week to No. 14. Additionally, "Johnny Cash" was just recently ranked as the No. one highest rated song on AOL Radio's country stations with an unprecedented listener rating of 9.6 out of 10.

Aldean has also launched a new web site (www.jasonaldean.com ) where fans can get a sneak peak of the new album through streamed audio clips and behind-the-scenes video clips from the road, where he is on tour with superstar group Rascal Flatts.   The site, which was created by echomusic, is also offering one lucky fan club member an all-access pass to all of Aldean's concerts throughout the remainder of 2007.
