HOT SCHATZ PR SIGNS BREAKTHROUGH COUNTRY STAR JASON MICHAEL CARROLL

Nashville, Tenn. April 2, 2008 – Hot Schatz PR has signed Billboard’s Top New Country Artist of 2007, Jason Michael Carroll, to their roster of clients for independent publicity services.

Carroll’s debut release, Waitin’ in the Country (Arista Records), debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. country charts and secured back-to-back Top 5 hits with his first two self-penned singles, "Alyssa Lies" and "Livin’ Our Love Song." Carroll’s newest single, "I Can Sleep When I’m Dead" has already become another hit for the breakthrough country star – sitting among Country’s Top 40 singles and still heating up the charts.

Since his debut, Carroll has toured with some of country’s top performers, hitting the road with such superstars as Trace Adkins, Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift and Josh Turner. He also co-headlined the successful "Raisin’ The Bar Tour" tour with fellow newcomer, Bucky Covington. Carroll’s summer is already filling up with tour dates with Martina McBride, along with headlining dates of his own.
