(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) "She's A Hottie," the smoking new single from
chart-topping entertainer Toby Keith, is burning up the singles charts,
igniting a firestorm of download activity and fueling a surge in catalog
sales.
Already in the top 20 on the Billboard/R&R and Mediabase/Country Aircheck
singles charts after only a few weeks, "She's A Hottie" is making the kind
of airplay impact radio has come to expect of a Keith release.
And fans are already reacting in a big way. Digital single sales exploded
almost 40% this week. Simultaneously, album sales for Keith's recent studio
album Big Dog Daddy have jumped 24% both in stores and digitally.
As impressive as "She's A Hottie" has been in it first few weeks of release,
this success is only kindling for the May 6 launch of Toby Keith's 35
Biggest Hits. Comprising 34 smash singles on two discs, plus the new single,
the collection spans the multi-platinum performers entire career.
Released on Show Dog Nashville/Universal Music Enterprises, 35 Biggest Hits
opens with his first No. 1 hit, 1993's "Should've Been A Cowboy," and runs
all the way through his 2006 chart-topper "A Little Too Late." Keith has
sold more than 30 million albums, he's been deluged with critical praise and
peer approval in the form of awards, and he's consistently been one of the
top-drawing live performers in the nation. His second feature film, Beer For
My Horses, recently finished shooting in New Mexico.
