(LAS VEGAS) As principle photography drew to a close at the New Mexico and
Las Vegas locations of the upcoming feature film "Beer For My Horses," the
movie's star and co-producer Toby Keith presented his co-stars with custom
Takamine guitars.
Emblazoned with the B4MH logo, the Takamine acoustics were offered as gifts
to cast members of the rollicking buddy-flick, which Keith wrote with
comedian and actor Rodney Carrington. In addition to Carrington, Ted Nugent,
Greg Serano, Brit Morgan, Barry Corbin, Gina Gershon, Mac Davis, Mel Tillis,
Claire Forlani and Tom Skerritt received guitars.
The film follows the exploits of small town deputies and best friends who
defy the local sheriff to embark on an outrageous road trip to save one of
their girlfriends from drug lord kidnappers. B4MH is Keith's second major
feature, following his acclaimed performance in 2006's "Broken Bridges."
Keith remains one of the most successful musical entertainers of his time,
with more than 30 million albums sold. He's notched scores of smash hits
including his current fast rising single "She's A Hottie," which is drawn
from his upcoming May 6 release Toby Keith's 35 Biggest Hits.
His 2008 summer tour kicks off in June, bringing his wall-to-wall hit
experience to standing-room-only venues nationwide. Sharing the bill will be
new trio Carter's Chord, who are signed to Keith's Show Dog Nashville label.
Opening the tour will be new Show Dog signing Mica Roberts, a dynamic singer
who has long been a member of Toby's touring band. The latest Show Dog
signing, Trailer Choir, are also on the bill.
