Nicest Guy In America Joins ‘Zucker’ Film

Nashville, TN - April 1, 2008...Country music superstar Trace Adkins, fresh off a season of Donald Trumps’ Celebrity Apprentice and with a number one single You’re Gonna Miss This, will join the cast of David Zuckers’ new comedy AMERICAN CAROL, currently shooting in Los Angeles.

Trace plays The Spirit of Christmas Future -- the Grim Reaper -- who uses his special musical abilities to bring insight to 'Scrooge,' in an effort to help him avoid an inevitable and tragic end.

Trace Adkins, a multi-platinum selling country artist recently added "author" to his professional resume. His first book, A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Freethinking Roughneck was published through Villard Books for Random House publishers.

The other cast includes Kelsey Grammer, Serdar Kalsin, Geoffrey Arend, Robert Davi, Jillian Murray, Chris Anglin and a host of "celebrity" cameos including Jon Voight, Leslie Nielsen and Dennis Hopper.

AMERICAN CAROL is produced by Mpower Pictures Stephen McEveety ("The Passion of Christ"), John Shepherd ("Bella") and David Zucker. Myrna Sokoloff, who co-wrote the script with David Zucker, is Executive Producer.
