Nashville, TN   September 4, 2007 – Lisa Hartman Black will take the stage with her husband Clint Black in a special performance at his upcoming Aurora, IL, concert (September 8th).  Black kicked off his Up Close and Personal Tour August 23rd, and will continue on the road through mid-November.  Hartman Black will join her country music superstar husband on two songs: the award winning “When I Said I Do,” and a brand new duet titled “You Still Get To Me.”  This song, as well as Black’s current single, “The Strong One,” will be featured on Black’s next CD release, due in early 2008 from his label, Equity Music Group. 

“Convincing Lisa to perform live was a very special challenge,” Black said.  “She has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard, but her preference is for as few people as possible to hear it.  So, it’s always baby steps for me to get her to sing… first I lure her into the studio to cut the track with promises of it just being a scratch vocal to help me shape the duet.  Then I convince her no one else can sing it like she does, so I get it on the CD.  You don’t want to know what I have to promise to get her to walk out on a stage with me in front of thousands of people!” 

Whatever the promise, fans at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora, IL, will be in for an extraordinary treat.
