Band of Brothers Climbing the Charts with First Single, “I Got More,â€‌ as They Make Their Grand Ole Opry Debut This Weekend
(Nashville, Tennessee…)– May 10, 2007 – New Columbia Nashville group Cole Deggs & The Lonesome are set to heat up the summer with the release their self-titled debut album on July 10, 2007. The fresh, compelling energy of the fivesome’s first single, “I Got More,â€‌ continues to amass well-deserved airplay on the country charts, and new fans can tune in this weekend to 650 AM or wsmonline.com as the group makes their debut on the famed Grand Ole Opry radio show this Saturday, May 12.
The five-man “band of brothersâ€‌ includes lead singer Cole Deggs on acoustic guitar, and bassist and vocalist Shade Deggs (both hailing from Lake Jackson, TX). Shreveport, LA natives Jimmy and David Wallace play keys and lead guitar, respectively, and sing background vocals, with Clearwater, FL native Brian Hayes on drums.
Through February and April, the band headlined the 3rd Annual Costa Del Mar Sunglasses U. of Blue College Tour, blasting their dynamic brand of country across 10 college campuses in 11 weeks.
Their debut disc, Cole Deggs & The Lonesome will contain 11 tracks, four of which were co-written by Cole Deggs or Jimmy Wallace. Mark Wright and hit songwriter Rivers Rutherford produced the album.
