THE ROLLING STONES TO GIVE SPECIAL LIVE PERFORMANCE ON THE “2005 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS" The Rolling Stones will be seen performing on the “2005 American Music Awards,” Tuesday, November 22nd on ABC-TV. The band will appear live from the On the special, the Stones join a line up of performers which already includes Mariah Carey, Kenny Chesney and Rob Thomas. The Rolling Stones, “The World’s Greatest Rock ‘n’ Roll Band,” are currently touring the “The American Music Awards” honor the past year’s elite in contemporary music as voted by record buyers. On the 33rd annual TV special, which will be hosted by Cedric “The Entertainer,” awards will be presented to top artists in Pop/Rock, Country, Soul/Rhythm & Blues, Rap/Hip-Hop, Latin Music, Contemporary Inspirational, Adult Contemporary and Alternative Music.
