High Point: "There have been a lot of high points: getting my record deal, writing with great songwriters and working with producers like Josh Leo, Dan Huff, Walter Afanasieff, Peter Asher, Barry Beckett, and Tom Shapiro. It's all been amazing."

Best piece of advice: "My mom has always said, '1t doesn't matter what everyone else

thinks.' She taught me to believe in myself, and not worry about other people's opinions.

If you could be invisible for an hour, what would you do? "I would hang around Nicolas Cage's dressing room!"

Childhood chores: Tara Lyn worked on her parents' farm, canning fruit, tending the garden, cooking supper and washing the cows' udders before milking. "Farmers tend to be hard-working - because they have to be! Growing up where I did taught me good values."

What makes you happy? "When my husband gets up with the kids and lets me sleep in."

Are you a romantic person? "I try to be, but time doesn't always allow for it!"

If you could have witnessed any historical event, what would it be? "I would have wanted to be on Noah's Ark. It's always been my favourite Bible story, and the idea just fascinates me.."

What do you admire in other people? "I admire people who are themselves, and don' t worry about what other people are thinking about them. I have difficulty with people who pretend to be something they're not."

What do you still want to learn? "I would love to rebuild a car (preferably an old Corvette). I know how to change oil and air filters., but I would love to restore an old car on my own."
