This
evening was definitely worth the wait! Keith went all out to bring
everyone an evening that would be forever etched in everyone's
minds.
The evening started with Cory Gallant performing a few tunes.
Vince Roy then charmed the crowd with some of his original tunes
as well as some cover tunes....a great start to an unforgettable
evening.
The charming and talented, Andrea Hardwick, made the stage her own
as she belted out tunes one after the other. Andrea has taken a
foothold in this industry and she's not likely to let go for a
long time coming. We're sure to see her name a lot more in the
days yet to come!
And then came Keith..... Keith started his fiery performance from
a stool on the dance floor, singing his signature song, "Cheshire
Grin". No cover tunes for this Irish lad! Keith is not only a
talented singer/musician, but can hold his own with the best
songwriters in the industry!
Performing tunes from his newly released album, "If Love Could",
Keith mesmerized the audience with "Refuge", "Comes To Mind" (a
tune penned with Brian Jennings, member of Keith's band, The Rye),
and "Losing You", recorded with top notch musicians, Wendell
Ferguson, Craig Bignell, Steve O'Connor, David Martin, and
producer, Darren Walters). Andrea Hardwick joined Keith to sing
their duet, "Field Of Broken Dreams". Keith also treated us to a
preview of some songs from his next album..... "Because Tonight",
"Full Circle", and "Fadin'", to name a few.
Also deserving a big round of applause were the members of Keith's
band, "The Rye", who are top-notch musicians and singers. Brian
Jennings (Rhythm Guitar and Mandolin), Gary Fedy on drums, Chadwin
(bass), Sue Hertendy (background vocals), Sean Donnelly (lead
guitar), and Dan Badger ( bass and background vocals).
My recommendation is to add this amazing
singer/songwriter/musician's album to your collection. I guarantee
it will be worn out from repeated plays like mine is! It really is
beyond me why we haven't heard Keith played on the radio. Come on
jocks.....get with it!!!!!
A BIG "thank you" goes out to Keith for inviting us to this
wonderful evening packed with wine, food and song. Kudos,
Keith!!!! |
